Lenore, of the Shadow Dragon lineage, finds herself forced by her father and stepmother into a marriage with a short-tempered, volatile "old dragon"—a fate she has no choice but to accept. She eventually falls in love with Kallen, a Dragon God who has been concealing his true identity. Following a brief, passionate romance, Lenore becomes pregnant and, alone within the Dragon God’s temple, gives birth to nine black dragon eggs—an event that triggers a series of unsettling, supernatural phenomena. Her stepmother and stepsister then coerce her into consuming her own offspring as an act of atonement. Just as this unfolds, Kallen reveals his true form as a dragon—can he arrive in time to avert the crisis facing Lenore? Explore more series in Romance & Love, Hidden Identity, Family & Twins.
