Born with noble blood yet cursed with damaged magic, Elysia is cruelly betrayed by her sworn protectors—childhood friends Arthur and Leo. For the sake of a hypocritical, vicious maid named Lillian, the two brothers not only sever the Bonding Tree and break her pet's wings, but also force her to strip off her warming robe and drive her, dying, into a raging storm. Even at the grand wedding, they take a poisoned blade for Elysia, leaving them permanently disabled, just for a single glance. But late devotion is cheaper than weeds.
