The story

Four years ago, Iris, bearer of the Primordial Fire Seed, was betrayed by rogue dragons who sought to rip it from her body alive. She fled and gave birth to her son Finnegan in secret. Disguising the boy as a plush-dragon charm, she raised him alone. When Dragon King Kael tracks her down and saves her from a sudden attack, he takes her back to his estate under house arrest. Haunted by past misunderstandings, Iris is convinced he only wants her fire seed. Meanwhile, Kael’s uncle Varek conspires with Seraphine to hunt her and her child, igniting an all-out conflict.
