In medieval Europe, monsters and plagues ravaged the continent, pushing six kingdoms to the brink of ruin. Six kings journeyed to the Rift of Ashes and begged the true dragon Sera Vale for six precious belly‑scales. They swore a sacred oath: the scales should only defend their homelands, never fuel conquest. Sera sacrificed her scales, gravely draining her life essence, and fell into deep slumber. Decades later, Sera awakens. To her horror, the six realms have broken their oath. Empowered by her dragon scales, they wage wars of expansion. Together with the Radiant Church, they rewrite history and brand Sera as a world‑devouring evil dragon. Rowan Ashford, a royal knight of Veyne, is ordered to hunt her down. Yet he uncovers the ugly truth behind the fabricated lies. He abandons his old allegiance and stands by Sera’s side. The pair set out to reclaim the stolen dragon scales, expose the treasonous kings, and clear the slandered name of the wronged Black Tide Legion. Through brutal battles and life‑or‑death trials, the cold‑noble dragon and the fearless knight grow deeply attached. At last, they overthrow corrupt tyranny and reshape the fate of the continent.
