Viktor Hale, son of the conspiracy mastermind, endures agonizing alien transformation for his faction’s goals. Kael and Lena team up, unlocking Aegis One’s dual cockpit to share the painful neural sync. He discovers the Matriarch is only a wounded, suffering creature rather than a monster. Abandoning his father’s order to slay it, Kael detaches the Key from his body and seals the drill wound inside the entity.
