In a modern world ruled by wolf Packs, Rowan Vale is a pregnant male Omega and the mate Evelyn Blackthorn refuses to acknowledge. Evelyn is a ruthless female Alpha who controls both the Blackthorn Pack and its corporate empire. Because Rowan's Moon-Cradle Mark has been suppressed by silver drugs, her family brands him a “broken Omega” incapable of carrying a powerful heir. When the seemingly pure Cassian Frost arrives claiming to be a high-born Omega and the perfect bearer of the Blackthorn bloodline, Evelyn chooses power over her mate. She severs Rowan's Mate Bond and casts him beyond the Pack border to die in the snow. Rowan is rescued by Darius Grey, leader of the ancient Greyhaven Dynasty. Darius discovers that Rowan's cracked mark is not defective at all. It is a suppressed Crowned Moon Mark, a sign carried only by the royal Lycan line. After a brutal restoration and bloodline awakening, the submissive Rowan Vale disappears. In his place rises Lord Rowan Grey, the lost Greyhaven heir and future Lycan King. Evelyn is immediately drawn to the cold, powerful stranger, never realizing that he is the mate she discarded. Rowan draws her away from Cassian while quietly gathering original medical scans, blood samples, and evidence of a black-market pup. As Cassian's false scent, forged pregnancy, and fake heir begin to unravel, Greyhaven and the Moon Council strip away the foundations of Blackthorn power. At the Blood Moon Tribunal, Rowan exposes the bloodline fraud before every Pack and reveals the royal identity Blackthorn tried to destroy. Evelyn loses her mate, her heir, her Pack's future, and her final chance at forgiveness. When she begs him to return, Rowan refuses to let anyone claim his body or future again. Carrying the scar of the Moon-Cradle they once called broken, he leaves the old city as a free Omega—and the Lycan King he was born to become.
