Ilyssia, born with noble blood yet crippled by flawed magic, suffers a cruel betrayal by her childhood sworn brothers Arthur and Leo, who had vowed to protect her. For Lillian, a deceitful and malicious maid, the two brothers sever their bond tree, break her pet’s wings, force her to strip off her warmth-retaining mage robe, and ruthlessly cast her half-dead into the raging storm. On the brink of death, Lucas, the fiercest dragon crown prince of the continent, descends like a deity. He pulls her out of hell with a sacred betrothal contract and brings her back to his ancient castle, showering her with overwhelming favor. When the former brothers accidentally unlock a memory crystal, they witness the horrifying truth: the maid stole the dragon egg and pushed Ilyssia into the abyss lake. Their beliefs crumble completely. Mad with grief, they strip the maid of her magic, kneel in muddy ground begging through tears. At the century grand wedding, they even take a poisoned blade for Ilyssia, leaving themselves permanently disabled, hoping only for one glance from her. But late love is worthless. Ilyssia turns away coldly. Upon the altar, her magic awakens, and she bears the dragon heir. She kisses and is crowned alongside the domineering yet devoted crown prince under the starry sky, leaving the blinded brothers confined to wheelchairs, doomed to endless regret for the rest of their lives.
