Set in the turbulent North Sea, the series follows Elsa, a kind-hearted fisherman’s daughter whose peaceful village is massacred by the brutal pirate leader Iron Claw, who kills her father and enslaves her. Surviving a deadly storm, Elsa sinks into a deep-sea cave and bonds with Jörmungandr, the injured ancient World Serpent, inheriting its powerful sea-controlling bloodline and golden-eyed divine power. Driven by revenge and a desire to protect the oppressed, Elsa gathers displaced villagers, defected pirates and loyal companions, forming a fleet with the emblem of the ouroboros. She battles Iron Claw’s vicious pirate group, confronts Greta, a noble descendant with Thor’s thunder blood, and uncovers the Westren family’s conspiracy to forge a god-slaying spear to wipe out all sea divine bloodlines. Finally, Elsa destroys the fatal weapon, defeats Iron Claw, and brings peace to the North Sea, growing from a vengeful girl into the benevolent guardian of the ocean.
