For a hundred years, the White Wolf Court of the North has failed to summon a Direwolf, teetering on the brink of extinction. Princess Lyra is sold by her father as a marriage bargaining chip to Kaelen, the most feared Black Iron warmonger of the South — a cold, domineering man who commands Direwolves. Before their wedding night, Lyra's former fiancé tries to assault her, and Kaelen freezes him to shards in public. To prove the marriage vow is real, he walks into the Direwolf's extreme ice-breath himself, leaving a lifelong scar. Amid rival suitors' humiliation and sworn brothers' betrayal, Lyra gradually discovers the deep devotion and sacrifice beneath Kaelen's cold exterior. What shocks everyone even more — the Wolf-Caller bloodline slumbering within Lyra for a hundred years has awakened. When the Snow Barbarian army presses in and Kaelen falls into a desperate battle, Lyra descends upon a battlefield of ten thousand riders atop a Direwolf, summoning the wolf packs of the entire ice plain and turning the tide of war. She is no longer a sold-off princess, but the Wolf Queen before whom ten thousand kneel and all wolves submit. Explore more series in Romance & Love, Mafia & Action.
