"Mother, Why Didn't You Save Me?" is a heart-wrenching fantasy short drama. Following an attack on a magic academy by a dark sorcerer, eight-year-old Grace and her cunning younger sister, Lena, are both afflicted by a lethal "shadow venom." Their mother, Isolde—blinded by long-held prejudices—pours her precious healing star-energy into the deceitful Lena, while completely abandoning the gravely wounded Grace, who ultimately perishes. Later, irrefutable evidence exposes Lena’s malicious schemes. Consumed by overwhelming guilt over her fatal mistake, Isolde relinquishes her esteemed position as a high-ranking healer. She settles near the place where Grace was laid to rest, spending the remainder of her life in solitude and penance, haunted by the irreparable harm she inflicted upon her own daughter.
