At the age of 45, legendary football king Arthur dies unexpectedly in a car accident, only to have his soul travel across time and awaken in the body of 19-year-old "fool" Max. Max, the orphaned son of the owner of Crown Team, a local club rooted in the working-class neighborhood, has long suffered relentless bullying and humiliation from his uncles and people around him due to his intellectual delay. His elder sister Sarah is trapped in a desperate situation, cornered by greedy relatives and the cold-blooded top capital conglomerate Apex, who are pushing her to give up the football pitch her late father left behind. Carrying peak-level football IQ and an unruly, kingly spirit, Arthur revives in Max's young body that possesses absolutely explosive physical talent. Faced with violent coercion from the conglomerate's gang affiliates and arrogant provocation from active world top football superstars, he stops holding back. From the no-rules "death football" matches in street iron cages to the grand league stadiums full of elite players, Max brings out his physically defying "Wrath of the Football King" and the ultimate violent aesthetic of the sport, crushing the lofty capitalists, rampant underground thugs and domineering football superstars one after another under his feet. Just when he leads the underdog working-class team to the final and reclaims all lost dignity, Arthur's original body lying in the hospital bed miraculously wakes up. Faced with the brand new fate, the legendary soul and the strongest physical talent echo each other across the peak match pitch, completing a world-shocking handover of the football legend.
