Five-year-old Lily is found hiding in a dumpster by Roman Vale, the feared head of one of Ravenport’s most powerful crime families. What begins as a reluctant act of protection quickly becomes personal when Roman discovers that Lily is being hunted for reasons no one can explain. She can hear heartbeats through walls, heal in minutes, react violently to silver, and—under the full moon—transform into a wolf. As bounty hunters, biotech operatives, corrupt systems, and rival forces close in, Roman refuses to give Lily up. His rival, Vincent Moretti, unexpectedly joins the fight, turning two competing crime families into a dangerous double shield around one tiny girl. Lily’s mother, Selene, eventually returns with a terrifying truth: Lily is not an experiment. She was born a werewolf—an extraordinarily rare, stable natural-born one. The mystery deepens when Lily’s missing brother Caleb is found alive and the family uncovers Black Moon, a secret operation tied to Roman and Vincent’s fathers. What first appears to be a sinister research program is revealed as an underground rescue network created decades ago to save children from experimentation. But someone betrayed it. At the center of the present-day hunt is Aurelis Biotech, which wants Lily’s blood to perfect artificial werewolf conversion. As Roman fights to keep his daughter safe, Lily must learn that her power does not make her a monster. In the season finale, she chooses to transform on purpose to save Roman—exposing werewolves to the world and awakening an even older enemy.
