The Golden Exile: Mother of Seven Gods
About this story
Aurelia is the only golden elf in ten thousand years. On the night she was to bloom her flower buds, she was framed by her partner Lucien and her sworn sister Sylvia—her buds were corrupted black, and she was publicly thrown into the abyss to die. In her dying moment, her obsession awakened Jormungandr, the world-serpent who had slumbered for ten thousand years. Reborn on the day of her awakening, Aurelia, carrying memories of her past life, rejected Lucien and ventured alone into the abyss to find Jormungandr. Through three days and nights of forbidden union, she nurtured seven flower buds. When she returned to the royal court with the buds, everyone mocked her for giving birth to "abyss monsters"—until the seven buds hatched, and seven primordial elemental gods of fire, water, earth, wood, wind, thunder, and ice descended, calling her "Mother."
