Twilight Judgment

Seven years ago, chief inquisitor Evans discovers that the church drains living dragons to sustain the Holy City. He breaks his staff, destroys his left eye, falls into the abyss, and disappears under another name. Current inquisitor Lucas tracks him down and forces his surrender by threatening the town. When church assassins attack the convoy, their light and darkness resonate. After witnessing the slaughtered dragons, Lucas abandons his faith core and binds himself to his former enemy, gaining the Twilight Dragon Mark. Together they destroy a mechanical seraph, expose the church, and free the dragons. When the archbishop becomes a light beast and ignites apocalyptic fire, they merge their dragons to deliver Twilight Judgment, then retire together.
