The Fake Mom

On their wedding night, Ethan and Claire's intimate moment is interrupted by the painful cries of his mother, Sophia, complaining of a sore back. Ethan spends the entire night tending to her, but by morning, a conversation with a neighbor leaves Claire sensing that something is terribly off. Facing Sophia’s deliberate gloating and provocation, Claire grows suspicious, only to be accused by Ethan of making a mountain out of a molehill. That very evening, as the couple tries to be intimate once more, Sophia summons Ethan away yet again, claiming she had a nightmare. Swallowing her anger, Claire follows the sound late at night to her mother-in-law's bedroom door. Fueled by rage, she kicks the door wide open, only to be completely frozen by the shocking sight before her eyes.
